The 2024 NFL Draft saw the Las Vegas Raiders end the first round without a quarterback. Months of conjecture and hearsay suggested the organization would aggressively target the position, but the Raiders selected at No. 13 after six other quarterbacks were chosen.
With one of its seven remaining draft selections, the organization may choose to take a quarterback. Still, not many choices remain that would significantly improve upon the team’s existing setup.
One of the most intriguing quarterbacks left is Tennessee’s Joe Milton. Timothy Rapp of Bleacher Report believes the Raiders could consider him.
In a post published on April 25, Rapp stated, “Garrison Minshew II and Aidan O’Connell will compete for QB1 duties for the Raiders in 2024, but neither is the long-term answer at the position.” “[Spencer] Rattler would offer a long-term project, while Milton would jump right into the quarterback competition.”
One player that could be available in the sixth or seventh round is Milton. Nevertheless, since teams have been vying for quarterbacks this season, he might go higher.
